Vernon-Giverny station, both Paris airports and every main-line station. The price is agreed before we leave, and a late train or plane costs you nothing.
Vernon-Giverny station
It is my most frequent journey. Five minutes from the town centre, and I drop you at the passenger entrance, not at the far end of the car park.
Coming the other way, give me your train number when you book: I follow the real arrival time and adjust. You do not pay for waiting you did not choose.
The airports
Charles de Gaulle is 99 km away, about 1 hr 24 depending on the hour. Orly is 90 km. For an early flight I leave Vernon around 4am without difficulty — booking the day before is simplest.
On the way back I can meet you in arrivals with a sign showing your name. Just say so when you book.
Why a fixed price rather than the meter
For a journey booked in advance, French regulation allows an agreed fixed price. That is what I do on long distances: the price quoted is the price paid, traffic or no traffic. You know where you stand before you get in.
